I May Eyes Love sono quartetto formatosi nella primavera del 2023 composto da Silvia Lovicario alla voce e chitarra ritmica e dagli ex membri degli You, Nothing Federico Costanzi alla chitarra solista, Giulia Cinquetti al basso e Nicola Poiana alla batteria.
Il sound dei May Eyes Love si ispira alla scena shoegaze contemporanea e basa la propria identità sulla rielaborazione di alcuni dei suoi elementi tipici come il muro di suono generato dal feedback della distorsione; giri di chitarra alla Slowdive ma anche l’influenza delle band nugaze degli anni ’10, senza disdegnare incursioni nell’universo dream pop, post punk, indie rock ed anche emo, soprattutto per quanto riguarda i testi e alcune scelte di suoni.
Letters To A Dead Friend è l' EP di esordio della band ed esce in collaborazione tra Coypu Records, Dear Gear Records e Shore Dive Records.
